1. Eligibility for Returns

Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase or delivery. Items must be in their original condition, unused and undamaged. Items returned in a non-saleable condition may be subject to a restocking fee or rejection. Items should be returned in original packaging or adequately protected to avoid damage during transit. Any deliveries which fail through no fault of the courier or seller will incur return charges these are billed to MK Autobreakers and will be passed on to the customer.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

• Electrical parts (e.g. sensors, ECU units) unless proven faulty.
• Items specifically sold as “non-returnable” or “sold as seen.”
• Custom or special-order parts that were specifically sourced or modified at the customer’s request.

3. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect item:

• Contact Us: For items damaged in transit, notification must be made within 24 hours and images supplied of both the packaging and the part to enable claims to be processed.
• Provide Proof: Submit clear photos of the item including the part number and the issue.
• Resolution Options: We will offer a replacement, repair or full refund once the claim is validated.

4. Return Process

2. Pack the Item: Securely pack the item including a copy of your receipt and the RAN.
3. Ship the Item: Send the item to: Unit 3 Landau Way, MK Autobreakers, Erith, Kent, DA8 2LF. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was faulty or incorrectly supplied.
4. Inspection and Processing: Once received we will inspect the item and process the refund or replacement within 3 business days.
5. International Returns: If returning from outside the EU you must complete a customs declaration correctly indicating the package contains “returned goods.” If your parcel is stopped in UK customs and a charge levied, we will refuse payment and the package will be returned to you. Under no circumstances will we pay customs duty to receive back our parts. Please email our aftersales team or call +44 (0) 1322 332031 to book in the return and we will advise and assist you.
6. Missing Items: If an item is missing please first check your dispatch note the item may be arriving separately. If the item is listed on the dispatch note but not present, email us quoting your order number and stating the missing item and we will investigate further.

Important: We are not penalizing anyone for making a mistake or changing their mind. we are simply passing on the charges we incur.

5. Refunds

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
• Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

6. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for items of equal or lesser value. If the new item is more expensive the price difference must be paid before dispatch.

7. Restocking Fee

A 20% restocking fee may be applied to returns of non-faulty items, especially if they were part of a bulk or large order.

Postage & Delivery

Please note postage costs are to most mainland UK addresses, contact us for postage to Isles, Highlands or elsewhere.

Condition of Parts

The parts we sell are from auto-salvage and used cars and, as such, these parts will sometimes have small marks on them from everyday use ie: stone chips, cracks or more. These minor blemishes will not be pointed out but any marks we consider significant will always be listed in the description.

Fitment Responsibility

We will endeavour to supply the exact part you require but due to variations in manufacture we cannot guarantee parts are correct for the purpose required. It is the customers responsibility to make sure that the parts bought are for their particular vehicle, however, if we are notified within 14 days of purchase for any incorrectly fitting part we will attempt to replace it for another part in similar condition.

Faulty & Damaged Goods

We will exchange or refund faulty parts with the exception of electrical goods which will only be exchanged. Please check goods on receipt and DO NOT SIGN FOR if damaged. Faulty/damaged goods MUST be notified WITHIN 14 DAYS OF RECEIPT otherwise NO REFUND will be given. Refunds/replacements are for parts only carriage charges are not included therefore are non refundable.

60 Day Warranty

60 day warranty covers the replacement/refund of parts ONLY, runs from the date of purchase, is void without proof of purchase and does NOT cover labour costs.

Liability

We do NOT accept responsibility for damage to the said part or any vehicle to which it is fitted or to any impaired performance caused by improper fitment or subsequent damage caused by lack of maintenance or for the loss of use of a vehicle whilst the part is being returned/exchanged. We do NOT assume responsibility for towing charges, lay-up time, losses due to down time, vehicle rental, inconvenience, telephone costs or accommodation.

Installation Requirements

All warranty installations must be carried out by a certified/reputable fitter as improper installation will void this warranty and all claims must be presented within the timescale stated for the warranty to be valid. Any item or invoice marked ‘Sold as Seen’ will invalidate this warranty. All implied warranties are limited to the terms, any consequential or incidental damages are not covered under this warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty is not transferable and does not cover damage to parts that are used in connection with any vehicle racing, damage/accident caused by misuse, improper fitment, continued use or neglect and is void if the part is dismantled or tampered with. Please note all items sold are drained of fluids/oils.

Engines

Engines are sold complete less ancillaries and when replaced must be fitted with new timing belt, auxiliary belts, oil, filters and spark plugs. Warranty excludes timing belts, auxiliary belts, gaskets, seals and engine accessories ie: water pump, fuel pump, carburettor, distributor, thermostat etc. If previous overheating has been experienced a new/reconditioned radiator must be fitted when the engine is replaced. Proper oil and coolant levels must be maintained at all times for warranty to be valid. If Heat Tabs have been melted, tampered with, damaged, or are missing then warranty will be deemed void. Engines are warranted against cracked blocks, excessive smoking, bad cam or crankshafts and to be in good running order unless otherwise stated.

Cylinder Heads

Cylinder heads are warranted against cracks only. Title to the goods shall remain with the Vendor until the full purchase price has been paid.

Legal Rights

These terms and conditions of sale are not intended to restrict or exclude any legal rights bestowed or implied by Law or a consumers statutory rights under the ‘Sale of Goods Act’ 1979 or ‘The Unfair Contract Act’ 1977 or any amendment thereof.

13.1 Warranty Coverage

Each of the Goods are supplied with the benefit of a warranty given by the Goods’ manufacturers (details of which will be provided to you with the Goods or otherwise on request (“the Warranty”)) provided that you comply with the conditions set out in clause 13.2 as well as any provided with the Warranty (“Warranty Conditions”).

13.2 Faulty Goods

If Goods become faulty during the period of the Warranty for reasons unconnected with your acts, omissions or misuse of the Goods, you must return such Goods to us. We will repair (or at our option) replace such Goods with the same or superior Goods, without charge. If Goods become faulty after expiry of the Warranty, and you request that we replace or repair such Goods, then we shall charge our then standard list price for such repair or replacement.

13.3 Sole Remedy

Your sole remedy in respect of a failure of the Goods to comply with the Warranty is as set out in the Warranty Conditions.

13.4 Investigation of Claims

We will be afforded reasonable opportunity and facilities to investigate any claims made under the Warranty and you will if so requested in writing by us promptly return any Goods the subject of any claim and any packing materials securely packed and carriage paid to us for examination.

13.5 Claims Procedure

We will have no liability with regard to any claim in respect of which you have not complied with the claims procedures in the Warranty Conditions.
